Mid-Autumn Mushroom Hunting — Here’s What You Can Expect

Cystodermaamianthinum2017-5

Despite the shorter days, senescing leaves, and snow flurries, autumn is far from over.  A quick look at the calendar suggests that mid-November is only less than two-thirds of the way through the entire fall season.  In other words, we have plenty of reason to celebrate!

Personally, I like to celebrate mid-autumn with a good mushroom hunt, and oftentimes I enjoy documenting my experiences on film.  (No surprise there!)  During one of these recent mid-autumn mushroom hunts, I brought my camera along so that I could digitally capture some of the fascinating fungi you can find this time of year.

Of course I hope you haven’t called it quits for the year, though if the basket has already been hung, perhaps you’ll be freshly inspired to head outside after watching this video!
