International Mud Day Celebration
- Date: July 1, 2017
- Time: 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm
- Created by Moraine State Park Complex
Mud. It seems like a nuisance, doesn’t it? There can’t be any benefits to mud, right? Wrong. Young and old all over the world are celebrating the wonders of mud. Join the park naturalists for some muddy fun and activities including puddle jumping; frog, toad & turtle hide and seek; archeology dig; mud wallow; and building animal mud structures. Stop by anytime between noon and 3:00 PM. Wear old clothes or swim wear; bring a towel and maybe a change of clothes. The Lakeview Beach Swim area and bathhouse are nearby for washing up after. So what are you waiting for? Let’s get muddy!
